August and October 2022: Animation Workshop Leader at Spotlight Youth Theatre

Responsibilities: Designed and provided a 2 day Claymation workshop for a group of young people at Spotlight Youth Theatre in Poplar, London in the summer, and again in the autumn.

2020- present: Art Technician at Bullers Wood School for Girls

Responsibilities: Providing specialist practical support to students and staff in the art department including in Photoshop, printmaking, digital and analogue photography and darkroom development, animation, pottery, sculptural work and painting. Ensuring all resources are provided for lessons, maintaining and ordering stock for the department, providing 1:1 support to students when needed. Covering absent teachers’ lessons, within and externally to the Art Dept, both remotely over teams and in person.

2019: Art and Play Leader at the South London Gallery

Responsibilities: Leading a staff team to ensure the safety, engagement and development of children in a gallery and play setting. Planning sessions relevant to current exhibitions at the SLG and in conjunction with artists, including visits off site.

2018-present: Gallery Assistant and Bookshop Receptionist at the South London Gallery

Responsibilities: Invigilating current exhibitions, working in the gallery bookshop, cashing up, entering information into spread-sheets, receiving calls and queries to the SLG, using telephone and computer operating systems, replying to emails, updating the SLG website.

2018: Personal Assistant to David Weston at 31 The Store, Cardiff

Responsibilities: Costing of artwork to be sold using Excel, personally custom framing art work, curating and hanging art work. Email correspondence with suppliers, ordering materials for a range of creative purposes.

2018: Artist-Facilitator at ‘Heroes of the Imagination’ by Touretteshero at the Southbank Centre, London, and at Boom Arts, Portland, OR, U.S.A
Responsibilities: Enabling 2000 disabled and non-disabled children to create super- hero identities in workshops at major arts centres.

2018: Art-Focused Educational Project Worker at The Limes College PRU

Responsibilities: Assisting GCSE art pupils to create work for an exhibition at the Lyric theatre, Hammersmith, and for their coursework and exams. Supporting their personal growth and creative development, whilst managing challenging behaviour.

2016-19: Inclusive Play Worker at Oasis Adventure Playground and at Oasis Nature Garden

Responsibilities: Enabling disabled children to play and risk-take in a safe and inclusive environment, teaching outdoor skills such as gardening, food growing and fire lighting.

2016-18: Personal Assistant to Jess Thom, Performing Artist

Responsibilities: Supporting a disabled artist at home, out in the community and on national and international working tours, during the day and night. Including:

Administrative duties, updating websites, replying to emails, personal care, physical intervention, therapeutic management of seizure like episodes, moving and handling, management of medication and creative enabling (facilitating performance and creation of creative work).

2016: Assistant Set Builder at Andy Knight Ltd.

Responsibilities: Assisting senior set builders in the production of commercial sets for shop fronts, TV and adverts. Using a range of power tools and painting techniques.

2015: Co-curated and co-produced Art of Matter Arts Festival at LaCuna Gallery, London

Responsibilities: curating an exhibition of 20 participants, arranging a series of talks and performances to take place in the exhibition space over a long weekend, and creating an accompanying book of artist’s work, essays and interviews.
