Artist/Experimental Animator Opportunities in North America

I am interested in applying for residencies where I could animate. I like the idea of going somewhere different for a set amount of time and being able to completely focus on one piece of animation. It could also fit around working freelance in animation generally. I have been on a month long artist residency in the past, in Nebraska in the US, and have been looking at similar ones. These are a few websites of places that offer art residencies. I don’t know if some of them would accept animation but I think it would be reasonably easy to pitch experimental animation as art. I have gone for ones in relatively random places in the US (no New York State or California, more like Wyoming) as I think I’d have a better chance at getting onto one. I was shortlisted for one of the ones on here in the past, again for art.
